C.S.M Storage & Archives is a family run business, founded in 1977 to provide a high quality storage and distribution service to the business sector. With steady progress we have developed a well structured, client driven business with over 60 employees and this growth based on a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Having successfully married the old fashioned virtues of customer service and reliability with the intelligent application of technology and modern management techniques, our business structure has been shaped to focus on the needs of customers in different market segments.

Our management system delivers a fully reliable, resilient, and secure platform enabling us to build and expand our capabilities to meet our clients specific need. With regular monitoring of client activities, movements, and comparative costs, we can offer recommendations and/or solutions where appropriate.

Archive Facility

From our fully computerised operation centre and modern warehousing, our distribution services provide a nationwide coverage, with our archive and records management services providing coverage to the Southeast as far North as Watford and to Slough in the West. Approximately 88% of our clients are located within the M25.

All archive matter managed by C.S.M is placed in our purpose built warehousing and racking units. Once your company records are received into our facility they will be assigned a unique code, which will correspond to your own identification/reference code (there is no need to change your current ID/Ref system). Our computer system will track and monitor each item by continual reference to its unique code label for all movement and retrieval purposes. It maps the locations of all items in store and will not allow duplication or secondary use of locations while items are temporarily out.

Total Security & Fire Protection

As a bonded customs approved warehouse facility our purpose built depot is clean, dry and vermin free. The warehouse perimeter is protected with anti-intruder fencing and guarded 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and utilises the latest closed circuit television surveillance equipment.

Access to the warehouse is granted only to authorised personnel, providing the following arrangements are in place:

• Requests must be made in writing at least 24 hours in advance.
• All visitors must first report to reception
• Checks will be made to ensure that visitors are expected.
• Proof of identity is required
• A phone call will be made to you confirming access (only authorised signatories gain access).
• A C.S.M staff member will accompany each visitor
• C.S.M facilities are dedicated to the storage of archive records and do not contain any material more flammable than paper.
• To protect the records in the store we take the following precautions: -
• A strict No Smoking Policy.
• Fire protection measures.
• Building protected by smoke and heat detection
